Picnik is closing – Get Premium features for Free till April 19, 2012

Picnik was acquired by Google and then integrated Picnik into Google Photos (Picasa) and Google+ earlier, but still the Picnik service was provided to the existing users and premium customers. Now Google is completely shutting down individual service Picnik and will continue only on Google Photos and Google+.

Closing of Picnik is not only affecting the free users, but also the premium users who have paid $$$ to use the premium features from Picnik. But nothing to worry , Google will refund the money which has got from premium users. Even if you are on your very last day of an annual membership, we will refund you the entire $24.95.

While the money is returned , what happens to the photos which you have edited and stored in Picnik. Yes you will be able to download all your work as ZIP file. and the exciting news is that till April 19 2012 all the premium features are available for free for all the users. Picnik was first introduced in Yahoo Email as an add-on application and later Google acquired Picnik and integrated in Picasa web. Now Google has integrated picnik into Google+ without mentioning as Picnik , but where as in Picasa web it mentioned picnik as such a add-on.
